相聚在西島

近兩年來在西島看見越來越多的亞洲人臉孔。我想多半來自中國。我在西島也住了兩
年有余。為方便各人相互認識認識﹐並共享西島生活經驗﹐建議各人聚一聚。這樣
對小孩子們大概也挺有意義。Lasalle有一間Vichy自助餐廳﹐品種比西島Fairview那
間豐富﹐價格一樣。开端設想聚會的時間和地點如下﹕

時間: 三月八日星期六.上午10:30開始,下午13:30左右結束.

餐廳: Vichy buffet restaurant,環境优美,物美价廉

所在: 7205, Newman blvd, Lasalle, QC H3N 2K3.

開車去會比較方便。暫時沒車的朋侪﹐到時會儘量相互安排。

“相聚在西島”means those having moved and living in West Island from different
parts of China. Brunch at Vichy in Lasalle is only a particular event for
people getting together. Sounds logical ? It is not far away though, 15
to 20 mins drive.

聚会的地点如能改在西岛的中心地带,启不更适合所有有意一聚的西岛朋友? Vichy 菜式选择多寡少有不同,相信大家对此不会在意过对聚会本身.

I have no problem with that. Any one would like to advise a nice place in West Island ? Maybe just the Vichy close to Fairview ?

Hi Downtown ---

There are a lot in West Island. I went to five or six in St. Jean before, two or three in St. Charles, also a pretty good Chinese one in Des Sources. French style or Italian style, pretty cozy, but mostly small and more expensive. The reasons to choose Vichy in Lasalle are:
1. Spacious chamber,
2. More choices, like fruits, shrimps, smoked meat, ice cream ... similar to Chinese flavor,
3. Cost for families.
I know a bunch of people with Montreal Chinese Author Association know the best places for meal in Montreal. Probably we might as well consult them. But again, do we have to make the selection process so complicated ?

本人试过几处,仅供参考:ST-JEAN除Vichy以外,另有一家Smoke Meat连锁店,味道还行,价位$1X-2X$.还有一家的环境不错,但口味较适合喜食西餐的人,价位$1X-$XX.中餐馆方面,有一家A la carte buffet,顾客以西人为主,价格$2X加税.还有就是'PJ餐厅',点菜.
